The economical use of water and the water re-use!
Water, especially drinking water, is in many regions of this earth a running short raw material. Water therefore is going to be more and more expensive and economical use as well as the re-use are going to be more and more important. For almost all processes used in laundries heat is needed. The generation of this heat requires a high energy input. Modern possibilities for reducing this energy input are reducing the costs as well.
The cornerstones to an economical use of water are:
- To reduce the water consumption
The reduction of the water usage is the first possibility, to save water.
- Water re-use
Partially, the applied water is not as heavily used that it cannot be used again.
- Water preparation
Therefore the water burdened with dirt and chemicals is recycled to either use it completely or just partially.
Usage of energy and its re-use:
- Heat recovery
Even by generating heat, it is important to make use of modern
boilers to keep losses low. Solar panels offer the possibility to pre-heat water. If central steam generation can be disclaimed or if local steam generators can be used, it is possible, too, to generate electricity through block-type thermal power stations which then can be used for machines or be sold.
- Heat recovery
The energy bounded in steam, water or precipitate can be used through recovery, respectively through transfer.
- Heat exchanger
Heat Exchanger are technical apparatuses which carry energy saved in water– also as condensate or waste air – in form of heat to a colder medium and consequently re-use existing energy instead of yielding it
unused to the environment, e.g. Heat exchanger process water ...
